I have always fancied the art of telecommuting or working from home as it commonly referred to. Often, I considered the prospect of being a superhero and juggling it all. Learning new skills – When we are at work, we tend to approach other colleagues for help but when you are on your own, its different. You have to learn a few tricks of the trade yourself. Working remotely gives you the confidence to research and learn a few important work skills.

Telecommuting is here to stay. To get the best results, and to ensure both parties are happy, employers need to look at ways on keeping employees engaged and motivated. On the other hand, employees must not let complacency set in and stay focused. Well, as a parent, telecommuting may not seem a blessing in disguise on most days.
