I totally feel this year is already flying by on a Firebolt broom.\nIt is zipping so fast that sometimes I wonder if time is trying to finish a\ntime bound marathon. Every year we make plenty of resolutions, some work and some\nvanish into thin air. The time, effort and energy one puts into achieving goals\nand dreams can be a daunting task. To wear off all the weariness once needs to\nreally get away from the mundane madness and that my friend is called going for\na \u201cHoliday\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year seems perfect to go for that perfect holiday you\nhave been waiting for! The year is swamped with long weekend holidays and this\ncalls for planning right away. Here are my top favorite vacation destinations\nin India. Feel free to take your pick as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beaches <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first week of January usually lets you experience the\ncoldest waves around the country and hence being at a Tropical destination like\nKerala seems perfect. Since the first weekend on January has already bid adieu\nyou can vacay away to some of these Tropical Beaches across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gokarna, Karnataka\n\u2013 <\/strong>Gokarna offers the same enthralling experience as Goa does and it also\npacks in some spituralism, traditional massages and so much more, all while,\noverlooking azure waters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarkarli,\nMaharashtra \u2013 <\/strong>Goa indeed is the beach destination of India however\nconsidering that it is packed throughout the year, this destination towards the\nnorthwest of Maharashtra is home to serene backwaters, busting villages and\nancient sea forts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tharangambadi, Tamil Nadu<\/strong> – The name means, \u201cLand of singing waves\u201d. This quiet town which is known by its Anglicized name of Tranquebar sits on the coast of Bay of Bengal, India. In a town that was previously a Danish colony, you will attractive beaches and even more attractive architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Radhanagar, Andaman\nand Nicobar Islands<\/strong> – Located on\nHavelock Island — in the remote Andaman and Nicobar Islands between India and\nThailand, it is one of the best beaches in Asia. Right from amazing water\nsports to fishing to treks, you can do all of it here.The icing on the cake is\nexperiencing the underwater world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minicoy, Lakshadweep<\/strong> \u2013 You can ignore the incongruity and soak in the\ntropical scenery and relax on the secluded island in this beautiful place. Most\ntravelers spend their mornings snorkeling or diving amidst the brilliant coral\nreefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beaches across the beautiful country are plenty and a\nbeach person like me can plan all my holidays exploring the beautiful shorelines\nand soaking in the sun. By the time you say chao to the winters, the summers\nare ready to play a beek-a-boo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
